The most delicious korean restaurant in Mr Dakgalbi JB that you should explore!

As of now, korean delicacies was gaining popularity in Malaysia. Korean dishes that Malaysians love include stirring instant noodles bibimbap and topokki. Kimchi stew, korean-fried chicken jajangmyeon, and of course, Dakgalbi!

Mr. Dakgalbi JB is a renowned Korean dish from a chain restaurant that's prepared by stirring-frying marinated chicken in gochujang (chili pepper paste) base sauce, and then sliced sweet potato, cabbage onions, scallions and perilla leaves. It's served with salad, kimchi and soup. It's an amazing method of eating. Mr Dakgalbi JB's menu is packed with delicious dishes to savor for all. The Mr. Dakgalbi JB, is a franchise originated from South Korea that serves "dakgalbi" for more than 30 years throughout Korea and later in China.

Malaysian Halal Portal reports that Mr Dakgalbi JB received a Halal certificate from Department of Islamic Development Malaysia. This Halal status signifies that all food served on the Mr Dakgalbi menu has been prepared according to Islamic dietary rules and regulations.

The menu of Mr Dakgalbi JB

The Cheese Ring is Mr Dakgalbi's most popular side dish. It is made with Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses that are melted in a hot-plated cheese circle. Topokki is a rice cake that can be served either pan-grilled or steamboat style.
Customers looking for a Couple or Family Set are best served with the Dakgalbi Set (or Fried Rice Set) which includes a choice between plain rice, fried or ramen (noodles) and beverages.A series of basic banchan are also delivered shortly after you place your order:
kimchi, pickled redish, and macaroni salad. These banchan are free flowing if you dine at Mr Dakgalbi JB restaurants.
This means that you can refill as often as you like. After the ingredients have been prepared, the waiter will begin to stir-fry the Dal-Galbi. The whole pan of Dak Galbi will smell aromatic once it is all ready. It tastes very similar to hot gochujang sauce. Mr Dakgalbi JB is the place to go if you like spicy food! After diners have finished their Dak-Galbi, a waiter from Mr Dakgalbi JB will come by to cut everything into bite-sized pieces.
Then, he'll add steam rice and cheese to the pan and continue with the second stir-fry. Dak-Galbi Fried Rice will result in sticky Dak-Galbi. For a complete meal, diners can add ala carte items such as Fried Rice, Udons, Sweet Potatoes, Cheese, Rice Cakes, Dakgalbi and Octopus to their order. It's Mr Dakgalbi JB, so bring your loved ones!

Dak, which means chicken in Korean, is the galline mascot for this chain of Korean restaurants located in KL. Galbi, which means ribs, was what I expected to see. Dakgalbi, a term that refers to a dish made of stir-fried chicken bits and not ribs, is what I found out. This can be purchased by Mr Dakgalbi in three ways: as a single dish, as a ring of cheese or as fried rice.
You might think there is not much for vegetarians. But we spoke to the friendly, overworked lady at the PV128 branch (Setapak). She said that aside from the chicken (or seafood, or beef depending on your preference), all the ingredients were vegetarian. They could also cook the chicken in separate kitchens for my wife's enjoyment.
This is because, as it is in many Korean restaurants, the gimmick is to have your food cooked right in front you while K-pop atrocities are played on the big TV. The cheese ring version was our choice. We watched as the dish was assembled from a few small pieces of potato and some rice cakes. To make the final part, we added spring onion, cabbage, noodles, and spicy bean paste. Then, you take the noodles, vegetables, and rice cakes, and then dip them in the melted cheddar ring.
It is important to not eat the entire batch. Round two involves adding some Korean rice to the risotto, and then stirring fried it with the remaining ingredients. We decided to cheat a little and added some cheese, rice cakes, and sweet potato. There are two versions of the light spicy stir-fry. We both liked the noodles but not the rice. If you'd prefer, you can choose between two types of noodles and two kinds of rice.
Wife felt the dakgalbi was too mild as she had tried it in Korea. However, it was still very tasty with a hint of smoked paprika flavor. A portion of the fried rice was also available at another table. It was enormous! We would go back. Yes. Although the food was not great, it was enjoyable to watch the process of making it.
My wife says normal ones are more fun for meat-eaters. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. The lady mentioned was friendly and efficient.
She even took off the bill for us when she delivered a late drink. Overall, it was worth returning.
Yes. We'd go back. My wife said that normal ones are better for meat-eaters. It was well worth the return trip.Assalamualaikum, and a warm welcome to everyone! !

It's been a while since my last review of food & restaurants. There's not much we can do, but it's COVID and it's better for us to stay home than to go out to have fun. If we want to eat at a restaurant/ stall, we usually order takeout. However, I cook almost every day.Return to Mr. Dakgalbi. Do you have any experience with them? I've tried them twice. The first was with a friend. I was so confused and jakun that I didn't do any research. However, this was about 3 years ago in KL. I was able to find a Mr Dakgalbi nearby so I decided to surprise my Husband on his birthday! (pastu dia memang tak pernah makan, so here we go!)

Dakgalbi, a popular Korean stir-fried chicken, is served at Mr Dakgalbi. It is made with ramen and cabbage, potatoes, and other ingredients in a special spicy sauce. Add rice, more spicy sauce and seaweed to your meal. Then, turn it into fried rice. It's almost like eating two courses, but with a large portion. really, it's Biiiiggg!

Yes, Mr Dakgalbi franchises are available in Malaysia. However, I couldn't find the official website of Mr Dakgalbi so I cannot list all branches. You can google search for Mr Dakgalbi restaurants near you. You can also tapau on Food Panda!

COVID-19 has made it so that half the area is off limits to the public. It is easier to manage the number of people dining in at one time. This is also because they have a limited workforce, so you can expect slow service.

Although the menu is easy to understand, it's not difficult for first-timers. Actually, I pon blur Jugak because I haven’t been there for 3 years. There are many sets so you don’t have to pick one. Ask the staff, they’re very friendly and will help and explain what you need.

These are the available menus. My sister claimed that the fried chicken was delicious, but honestly, i couldn’t find the menu. Will ask the staff if I want to return!

Haaaa! Another restaurant review and eating guide!

You can just watch and wait. All you have to do is watch as the staff prepares everything for you. Once it's done, they'll notify you.

The staff will prepare the dakgalbi without any fried rice. You can eat them and then call the staff to make a fried potato with the dakgalbi left over.

However, because they were short on staff (i think la), they prepare the rice in one pot so that you don't have to call them again for the Fried Rice. This is my favorite way to eat fried rice! !

It was delicious and it was definitely better than the one I had in KL. Serius.

It was a large portion. We ordered Jju-ddak, which is a webfoot octopus and dakgalbi set for two people. Although there is chicken in this set, it also includes octopus. We didn't order any side menu or fried chicken as my husband was already aware of the size. (bukan kedekut sebab aku belanja birthday guy k hahah!)

Since lunch, we have been trying to avoid heavy meals. I told us that the portions are large so when it came, we ate until our hearts content. We managed to eat 3/5 of the food, tak habis. We asked staff to tapau the remainder and we had it for breakfast the next day. Kemain kan jah, breakfast dakgalbi. HAHA

Yeorobeun (everyone we ate it for breakfast, and were still full until 3pm. so maknanya we ate twice for 2paxs of tu and still had kekenyangan berbaloi baloi!

Mr Ddakgalbi claims that their ingredients contain no pork or alchohol. You can also view their Facebook page HERE to see the latest news.
